Celebrities have become increasingly sensitive about the issue of revealing personal information to online dating websites.
In response, the industry has started to push back, with celebrities such as Rihanna, Katy Perry and Nicki Minaj all recently expressing regret for the photos they uploaded to their dating sites.
However, one celebrity’s Instagram account was hacked and exposed to the world, which led to a slew of embarrassing photos posted to the dating site.
The celebrity’s name was redacted and she was not listed as a match.
One of the photos shows her sitting at a table and smiling at her date, with the caption: “I love my husband, but he’s a mess.
I don’t even know where he lives.”
The photo was also posted to her profile, which is now deleted.
While there are some signs that celebrities are beginning to speak out about the problems, some dating sites have continued to encourage users to share the photos.
“I don’t believe it’s safe to share photos on a dating site,” the site’s director of public relations told The Verge.
“If someone is having a terrible day and wants to share it, we want to be able to help them with that.”
