In the aftermath of the coronaviruses pandemic, some celebrities have taken a stand against it, saying it is a “national security risk.”
But, according to celebrity legs founder and CEO, Emily Deane, there is no reason for us to have to be so afraid.
“I’m going to tell you right now, it’s a national security risk.
There’s nothing we can do about it,” Deane told Next Big Futures.
“There is nothing we need to do about this, except maybe educate ourselves on it and try to do our best to prevent it.
And that’s really what we’re doing.”
So far, Deane said, the company has taken steps to reduce the number of coronaviral-related infections on its site.
And Deane is hopeful that by 2020, the number will fall to “zero.”
The company plans to be a public-health hub for the pandemic.
“This is the first time we’ve ever done this, and we have a team of experts who are doing the data analysis, and then they’re talking to us about what they need to be doing to prevent this,” Dean said.
“And that’s how we can take this very, very seriously.”
The CEO said that there is currently “a lot of ignorance” around the coronovirus pandemic and that she was looking to educate the public about the importance of being on the safe side.
But, she said, there’s still a lot of misinformation around the topic.
“We’re talking about a really scary situation,” she said.
“It’s not something that you want to have as a family.
We’ve seen so many instances where families have lost their loved ones, or lost their lives, and people are afraid to talk about this.
And people are being really hesitant to talk to anyone about it, and that’s absolutely not right.”
So, I think we’re trying to build a really safe community.
And there’s no reason to be afraid.
“Deane said she has worked with celebrities like Beyonce, Lady Gaga, and Taylor Swift to educate them on the risks associated with the virus.
She said that many celebrities have been more than willing to talk.”
But we’re definitely going to continue to push for that message, and keep educating them, because they’re really doing what they can,” she explained.”
What I can say to them is that the people that are on this journey with you are more than capable of being there, and they’re willing to take that risk.
And I think that’s the message we’re going to be sending to people going forward.
It’s just that it’s not going to happen without us.
“Dean said that she plans to build her company into a public health hub, and hopes to use that to help educate the general public about how to avoid being infected.”
People will stop and say, ‘Wow, how can you do that?’
But, unfortunately, there are a lot people who aren’t doing it, so we have to keep educating people.”
