LAS VEGAS — The Kardashians are back.
The first episode of their new reality show, “Real Housewives of Orange County,” aired Wednesday night.
But it was not the first time the reality stars of Southern California have gone through a cancer recovery process.
They also have faced many other challenges during their lifetime.
The “Real Life” show also features an appearance by singer-songwriter David Bowie, who performed the album’s “Blackstar.”
Bowie, a longtime supporter of the cancer community, said the album “inspired me to do what I’m doing.”
He was diagnosed with stage 4 glioblastoma in 2013, and in December, the “Real World” show featured a special appearance by the “Dr. Oz” show.
The show was a collaboration between Dr. Oz and “Real Estate” creator and “Dr.”
Drew” doctor Chris Hardwick, who also helped bring Bowie on board to promote the album.
Bowie was diagnosed in 2013.
The “Real” Housewives show, which aired in March, featured a visit from “Dr,” a doctor who also worked for the “Oprah Winfrey Show” and was a consultant for “The Big Bang Theory.”
“It’s a process that has been the toughest I’ve ever had to go through.””
It’s been a long road, and it has been a journey of recovery,” he told ABC News in January.
“It’s a process that has been the toughest I’ve ever had to go through.”
Bowie’s illness has caused some problems for “Real Houses” co-host Kim Richards, who is in the midst of a breast cancer battle.
The actress said last month that her husband, singer/songwriter Drake, is the “principal reason” that she’s still doing the show.
In January, “The Real Housewives” star and Richards’ husband, Jay, also announced that he was having a relapse of the liver cancer.
Jay, a former NBA star and one-time member of the Los Angeles Lakers, announced he was testing positive for the cancer on the show last week.
As for “RHOC,” it will air a new episode next week.
The reunion will also include former Housewives co-star and “Opie and Anthony” host Howard Stern.
Stern has not been on the air in three years, but he returned to “The Howard Stern Show” on Thursday to discuss the new season of the show with “The Late Show” host Stephen Colbert.
