Lisa KUDROW wants to become famous for as long as she can, but it may be a while before she gets that chance.
The former Disney star and the host of the popular “Bachelor in Paradise” reality series, who also hosts the NBC reality series “The Bachelorette,” says she is “a little disappointed” that she doesn’t have a shot at the world.
“I think I am very lucky and very lucky, and I would be happy to have the opportunity to be a star,” she told The Associated Press in an interview.
“But I think I will never be famous.
It’s been a dream of mine for 20 years and it just never came true.”
Kudrow, 36, is a member of the reality-television “Bacheloretts” and “The Bachelor,” two shows on ABC that debuted in 2010.
She recently returned to the airwaves after hosting the NBC series for two seasons.
Kudrows, who was born in New York City, is one of several celebrities to say they will not be able to go it alone, despite their celebrity status.
In the past few months, a slew of celebrities including Mark Zuckerberg and Jennifer Lawrence have signed on to co-star in new reality-TV shows, including “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” and ABC’s “Shark Tank,” which is scheduled to debut in late January.
And this week, the actress Rosie O’Donnell will be joined by former President Barack Obama and a slew, including her ex-husband, former Vice President Joe Biden.
But Kudrows biggest concern is the lack of a global audience.
She told the AP she was “not a big fan of the Internet” when she first saw the competition and says it has now made her a “very, very big fan” of the world.
“I think we all have to take a step back and look at the bigger picture, not just what we see and hear on television but what we’re going to have to do on the ground,” she said.
“We need to find a way to connect more with the people who are here and not just the people that come to the TV and say, ‘I have a question about this.'”
Kudries fans are already asking her how she plans to become a star.
She said she is focused on her career and she will not worry about her appearance, since she has already done that.
She said she has had to make sacrifices to get where she is and that she does not want to go back to a life where her fans are disappointed with her.
“The fans don’t even want me to be there,” she added.
“They want me there.”
